Binu Nanu is an Indian businessman who is the managing director of Meroform India Private Limited. He heads various sociocultural organizations in the National Capital Region (India) and is also a philanthropist. ==Career== He has worked in the field of exhibitions since the early 1980s. A paper technologist from the Institute of Paper Technology, Saharanpur (now IIT Roorkee), he started his career in exhibitions in 1981. In 1984, he entered into a contract for the Italian Pavilion Expo which ran for 14 years consecutively. His drive for technology led to the development of the first Indian-made coordinated System and Furniture for Milan Overseas Exhibition Spa. This work was a quantum jump for exhibition business in India when an Indian made system replaced an overseas one. He has also initiated and developed the first temporary hangar structure for exhibitions in India and the first air-conditioned temporary space. Binu has been involved with many overseas fairs including ones in Frankfurt, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Köln, Berlin, Detroit, Tokyo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg, London, Singapore, Istanbul, Moscow, Kathmandu and Copenhagen. He was involved as a team member at the Expo in Seville in 1995, Expo '98, Lisbon the World Expo at Expo 2000, Hannover and Expo 2005, Nagoya. In addition to exhibitions, he has contributed in completion of Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum at Anandpur Sahib and the Buddha Smriti Park museum in Patna. His interests have also taken him into the sporting world.
